Here you must select one of the supported actions: keystroke (can include modifier keys), system action, system volume adjustments (up / down / mute), open item, launch menu and more. To change the action assigned to each remote button, simply click on each specific button and Mira will launch a contextual menu. You get to quickly enable the apps for which you want to use the Apple Remote by checking the box attached to each recognized utility. Mira offers you the possibility to set up different button actions for each application, hence create an unlimited number of usage profiles. The next step is to personalize the buttons effect and the launch menu. Note that you have to pair at least one Apple Remote with any connected IR receiver to be able to use the app’s capabilities (navigate to the Options tab). Right off the bat, when you access the Mira main window, you must decide if you want the app’s functionalities enabled or disabled, or if you want to disable the infrared receiver (must be enabled to allow the connection with your Apple Remote).
